General Terms and Conditions

1. Company Information

New Atlantis Swim School is operated by New Atlantis AB with organisation number 559448-1920. We are registered for F-tax and conduct activities in swimming instruction and water-based training. 2. Booking and Registration

    • Booking: Course registration takes place via our website. When booking for the first time, a personal account is created for you to manage your bookings.
    • Confirmation: After booking, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive it within 24 hours, please contact us.
    • Waiting List: If a course is full, you can join the waiting list. If a spot becomes available, we will contact you for confirmation.
    • Updates: New Atlantis Swim School reserves the right to change times and instructors if necessary.

3. Payment and Prices

    • Payment: Payment must be made in advance via [Swish,card and invoice]. Invoices have a due date of 30 days.
    • Late Payments: In case of delayed payment, interest will be charged according to the Swedish Interest Act, along with any reminder fees.
    • Prices: All prices are inclusive of VAT (6%). For current pricing, please visit our website.
    • Discounts: We offer sibling discounts and loyalty discounts for returning customers.

4. Cancellation and Right of Withdrawal

    • Right of Withdrawal: According to the Distance Selling Act, you have a 14-day withdrawal period from the date of booking if the course starts more than 14 days later. If you book a course starting within 14 days, you waive your right of withdrawal.
    • Cancellations:
      ○ Cancellation at least 14 days before the course starts: Full refund.
      ○ Cancellation later than 14 days but before the course starts: 50% refund.
      ○ Cancellation after the course has started: No refund.
    • Missed Lessons: Missed lessons are not refundable, but we offer the possibility of making up missed sessions if space allows.

5. Swimming Lessons and Safety

    • Hygiene Rules: Showering before swimming lessons is mandatory.
    • Equipment: Swimwear and goggles are recommended. Long hair should be tied back or covered with a swim cap.
    • Parental Responsibility: Parents are responsible for their children before and after lesson time.
    • Safety: We follow strict safety guidelines and ensure all staff are trained in lifesaving and CPR.

6. Liability and Insurance

    • New Atlantis Swim School is not responsible for lost belongings.
    • We recommend that participants have valid accident insurance.
    • If the course is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative course or a refund will be offered.

7. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or cancelled lessons due to circumstances beyond our control, such as pandemics, natural disasters, or operational shutdowns of swimming facilities.

8. Privacy Policy and Data Handling

    • We handle personal data in accordance with GDPR.
    • Data is used solely for course administration and customer communication.
    • Customer data is never shared with third parties without consent, except when required by law.
    • You have the right to request, modify, or delete your personal data.

9. Sibling Discount

New Atlantis Swim School offers a sibling discount for families with multiple children participating in swimming lessons during the same term.

Discount Structure:

    • 10% discount for the second sibling.
    • 20% discount for the third and additional siblings.

Conditions:

    • Siblings do not have to be in the same group but must participate during the same term.
    • The discount is automatically applied during booking if siblings are registered together.

10. Loyalty Program

We value our loyal swimmers and want to reward continuous progress. Our loyalty program provides exclusive benefits for returning participants:

Loyalty Benefits:

    • 5% discount enrolled in three consecutive terms.
    • 10% discount enrolled in five or more consecutive terms.
    • Priority access to new course registrations and special training sessions.
    • Invitations to exclusive events and workshops.

Eligibility & Conditions:

    • The loyalty discount applies only to the student’s individual registrations.
    • Cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

11. Student Discount

We support students who want to improve their swimming skills while managing their studies. To make swimming lessons more accessible, we offer a student discount:

Discount Details:

    • 10% discount for students enrolled in a full-time educational program.

Eligibility:

    • A valid student ID or proof of full-time enrollment is required.
    • Applies to all group lessons and individual coaching sessions.
    • The discount cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
